Space Age Technologies is a level 4 BEE contributor in terms of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 2003 as rated by an independent consultant.

We have adopted a progressive approach to BEE, and believe that we can make meaningful difference through the upliftment of historically disadvantaged individuals.   We furthermore stimulate the growth and developmental opportunities of historically disadvantaged individuals through the participation of learnership programmes and employment opportunities for successful candidates.

Space Age Technologies will give preference to small and medium enterprise* suppliers of products and services that either have black ownership and control of at least 25.1% or who can verify their BEE status by submitting a ratings certificate obtained through a recognised ratings agency.

Beneficial payment terms will be offered to small and medium* black owned suppliers of products and services that have verified their status as mentioned above. Qualifying suppliers can apply in writing to the Human Resource Department for consideration. This agreement will only be valid for 12 months where after the supplier’s BEE score and status will have to be re-assessed and verified.
